SERVICE CATEGORIES & DELIVERY ELIGIBILITY

Type A - Standard Services (45-Day Guarantee)

Projects exclusively involving the following services qualify for a 45 day delivery
commitment:

  • Modular or fit-out furniture (with installation)
  • False ceiling work
  • Basic electrical modifications (new points, relocation)
  • Countertop services (removal, cutting, installation)
  • Appliance supply and installation
  • Lighting fixtures and installation
  • Loose furniture (excluding brands listed under Type C)
  • Mattresses (excluding Urban Ladder)
  • Cleaning services

If the project includes any of the following alongside Type A services, the delivery
commitment extends to 55 days:

  • Wallpaper installation
  • Wooden flooring
  • Final-phase painting (non-textured)
  • General non-texture painting
  • Cleaning services

Type C - Non-Standard Services (No Fixed Guarantee)

Projects involving any of the following do not qualify for a fixed delivery timeline:

  • Loose furniture from Urban Ladder, FabIndia, Durian, or @home by Nilkamal
  • Wall art from Artezone
  • Home automation systems (e.g., Schneider, Smitch, Keus)
  • Texture painting (including final coats)
  • Civil or renovation work, or non-standard electrical services

Delivery Timeline Activation

If ATWOOD DSIGNS fails to complete the project within the guaranteed timeline (where
applicable), the customer may receive a delay fee of ₹1,000 per day. This is
contingent on meeting all preconditions, including full site readiness.

Preconditions for Delivery Guarantee

  • The site must meet all requirements listed in the Site Readiness Checklist before
    installation begins.
  • Any item not explicitly categorized in the quotation will be treated as Type A by
    default, qualifying for the 45-day commitment.

Exceptions & Clarifications

  • ATWOOD DSIGNS is not responsible for delays caused by the customer or unforeseen
    events (Force Majeure).
  • The term “guarantee” is used in general communication and marketing to indicate
    intent, not a legally binding assurance unless all conditions are met.

Conditions That Void the Delivery Commitment

The delivery assurance offered by ATWOOD DSIGNS will not apply under the following
circumstances:

  • If the customer or builder is responsible for any of the following:
    1. Supplying or installing granite
    2. Providing or fitting hobs and/or chimneys
    3. Modifying electrical points
  • If the site imposes limitations on working hours during the day.
  • If the customer does not have full legal possession of the site and is operating under temporary
    access granted by the builder.
  • If other contractors are simultaneously working on-site during installation-such
    as painters, wallpaper installers, flooring teams, carpenters-or if the builder is
    conducting civil work, core-cutting, or painting.
  • If any design changes are requested after the production process has begun.
  • If the customer is residing at the site during the installation phase.
  • If there are persistent execution barriers such as:
    1. Power outages.
    2. Non-functional elevators.
    3. Lack of builder permissions.
  • If any legal disputes or property-related 1litigation involving the customer,
    builder, or third parties interfere with project execution.
  • In the event of Force Majeure-unforeseen circumstances beyond control-including
    but not limited to:
    1. Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning)
    2. Environmental issues (pollution, mold, solvent exposure)
    3. External damage (grease, oils, sprays, staining)
    4. Fire, war, terrorism, pandemics, lockdowns, or government actions
  • If functional defects are identified at handover requiring OEM replacements (e.g.,
    hardware, appliances, accessories, color mismatches, or scratched handles), these
    will be replaced at no cost but are excluded from the delivery guarantee. ATWOOD
    DSIGNS will coordinate with OEMs for resolution.
  • If deep scratches are found on shutters after protective film removal and cannot
    be polished out, replacements will be arranged but are not covered under the
    delivery timeline commitment.
  • If there is a noticeable color variation in shutter finishes, replacements will
    follow OEM timelines (e.g., Merino, Associate, Action Tesa) and are outside the
    scope of the delivery guarantee. ATWOOD DSIGNS will assist with coordination.
  • If the woodwork portion of the project exceeds ₹15 lakhs, the delivery guarantee
    is not applicable due to the scale and complexity of the work involved.

At the beginning of every project, we engage in a comprehensive discussion to learn
your needs, clarify the scope, and understand the way you want your home to look

Schematic Design

Once we understand your preferences, our team focuses on spatial planning and
develops impressive 3D visual concepts that inspire our creativity. These serve as
foundation for shaping the overall design vision of your home.

Detailed Design

As we collaborate, your design evolves with careful attention to detail, ensuring
nothing is overlooked. This hands-on process also includes choosing the right
materials and skillfully enhancing every aspect of your home’s design.

Construction Drawings

We deliver comprehensive working drawings across all required disciplines to
guarantee accurate implementation. These cover detailed plans for electrical
layouts, false ceilings, carpentry work, and various other elements within your
home.

Site Supervision

While the project is in progress, our designers frequently visit your site to make
sure their design is implemented correctly and matches the original plan.

BOOKING & DOCUMENTATION GUIDELINES

  • The name used for booking must match the customer’s KYC records. No changes
    name or GST details are permitted post-booking.

  • Full name disclosure at booking ensures smooth legal communication, financing, GST
    invoicing (if applicable), and refund processing.

Minimum Woodwork Requirement

  • Orders must include at least ₹2,50, 000 worth of woodwork to be accepted.

Service Estimates

  • Initial quotes for plumbing, gas piping, and electrical work are provisional.
    Final pricing will depend on actual site conditions.

Product Availability & Price Fluctuations

  • Between the first and fourth payment stages, items like appliances, lighting, and
    loose furniture may be subject to price changes or stock issues.
  • Customers may select alternative products if original selections become
    unavailable.

Taxation & Service Classification

  • ATWOOD DSIGNS services are categorized under “Works Contract Services of Interior
    Solutions” (SAC 995476).
  • The place of supply is determined by the installation location, regardless of
    billing address.
  • GST is applicable on all advance payments, and invoices are issued upon project
    completion.

Quote Validity Extension

Cash Payment Limits

  • Cash payments up to ₹1,99,999 are accepted across all project stages.
  • Without PAN: Maximum ₹49,999
  • With PAN: Up to ₹1,99,999 (PAN must belong to the customer and be
    submitted to the Finance team)
  • Splitting orders to exceed cash limits is not permitted.
  • Final quotes are valid for 5 months. If extended beyond 6 months, pricing will
    be revised based on current rates.

Payment Confirmation

  • All payments must be acknowledged and approved by ATWOOD DSIGNS via email.

PROJECT DELIVERY COMMITMENT

ATWOOD DSIGNS offers a structured delivery assurance based on the nature and scope
of the customer’s project, provided all preparatory steps-referred to as “All-SetGo”-are completed. Depending on the category of services selected, customers may
qualify for one of the following:

  • Standard 45-Day Delivery Commitment
  • Extended 55-Day Delivery Commitment (45 + 10 days)
  • Estimated Timeline (non-guaranteed | Customized Designs)

Only the first two options include eligibility for delay compensation, subject to
the conditions outlined below. The third option is indicative and does not carry
penalty provisions if timelines shift.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

  1. The customer’s order will be delivered and installed on or before the scheduled
    date mentioned in the official quotation, and at the location provided by the
    customer.
  2. The confirmed delivery timeline will begin only after the following “All-Set-Go”
    conditions are fulfilled:
  • Both the customer and ATWOOD DSIGNS must formally approve the finalized interior
    design plans and specifications.
  • The customer must complete all payments as per the agreed instalment schedule. The
    delivery commitment starts from the date ATWOOD DSIGNS confirms receipt and
    approval of the payment via email.
  • The customer must ensure the project site is handed over in a condition that
    aligns with the Site Readiness Checklist outlined in the Works Contract.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • This quotation is an initial estimate and is valid till 15days from the date of
    initiated.
  • These Terms and Conditions is an understanding between ATWOOD DSIGNS LLP
    (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and its Customers.
  • Customer refers to an individual, organization or entity that purchases goods
    services from ATWOOD DSIGNS LLP.

Pricing Adjustments

  • The final cost of a project is influenced by actual site measurements, the scope
    of work, and any modifications in design, materials, or finishes.
  • Customers should anticipate a potential variation of ±5-10% usually or more in
    quoted amount due to these changes.
  • If the project involves custom selections, non-standard items, or expanded scope,
    the price may increase significantly beyond the initial estimate.

Initial Booking & Quote Validity

  • To confirm a booking with ATWOOD DSIGNS, the customer must pay either 5% of the
    quoted value or 25,000-whichever is greater-based on initial discussions or
    subject to the written approval.
  • Quotes issued before this first payment remain valid for 2 months; those issued
    afterward are valid for 5 months.

Quote Composition

  • The total quoted amount may include both woodwork and non-woodwork components
    (e.g., civil work, custom carpentry, appliances, and home décor services).
  • Payment milestones will follow the structure outlined below, depending on the
    booking date.

WARRANTY COVERAGE - PRODUCTS & SERVICES

10-Year Comprehensive Warranty on Woodwork

All woodwork delivered by ATWOOD DSIGNS is backed by a flat 10-year warranty. This
ensures protection against any defects arising from manufacturing or installation
workmanship.

OEM Product Coverage

Accessories, hardware, appliances, and other items sourced from original equipment
manufacturers (OEMs) are covered under the respective brand’s warranty terms and
conditions.

Service Warranty

ATWOOD DSIGNS also offers service-related warranties on select offerings. Details
are outlined in the Works Contract and can be reviewed during the fourth instalment
stage

OEM Product Warranty Guidelines

For products sourced from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and supplied as part of the customer’s project, warranty coverage will follow the respective OEM’s terms and conditions. Below is a summary of warranty durations and notable exclusions:

ITEMS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY

Certain products and materials provided or installed by ATWOOD DSIGNS are offered on
an “as-is” basis and do not carry any warranty coverage. Below is a representative

    3. Sink leveling defects

    5. Uneven countertop surfaces
  • Exclusions:
    1. No warranty on countertop material itself
    2. Damage due to misuse, neglect, or regular wear and tear
    3. Natural stone traits (e.g., color variation, water lines, fissures, pits)
    4. Structural movement or architectural flaws
    Stains, cracks, or scratches from improper cleaning, heat exposure, or impact
    5. Improper use such as cutting directly on the surface, standing on it, or
    chemical damage

False Ceiling Installation

  • Warranty Duration: 1 Year (installation only)
  • Eligibility:
    1. False ceiling work, related electrical provisions, fixture installations, and painting must be within ATWOOD DSIGNS’s scope
    2. Surface area must exceed 150 sq. ft.
    3. Materials and execution must follow ATWOOD DSIGNS’s vendor recommendations
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Board integrity failures
    2. Peeling or flaking of joint compound
    3. Surface cracks
    4. Fungus or algae growth (only if no moisture exposure)
  • Exclusions:
    1. Water seepage from vegetation, AC units, or other sources
    2. Dampness due to capillary rise or adjacent wall leakage
    3. Physical damage from external force
    4. Structural defects in the anchoring surface
    5. Fading or chalking in coastal environments

Warranty claims include labor and material costs only for the affected areas.

Painting - 1Year Warranty

  • Eligibility: Surface area must exceed 250 sq. ft. and wall preparation must completed by ATWOOD DSIGNS.
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Fading of paint shade
    2. Film integrity and chalking
    3. Peeling from the surface
    4. Fungus or algae growth (excluding moisture-related causes)
  • Exclusions:
    1. Discontinued paint codes
    2. Damage from wear, weather, misuse, or accidents
    3. Structural defects or water seepage from plumbing,vegetation, or AC units
    4. Fire, heat, corrosive agents, or abrasive cleaning
    5. Color mismatch between new and old paint
    6. Improper cleaning methods
    7. Humidity seepage from external

Electrical - 3 Year Warranty

  • Eligibility: Electrical work must exceed ₹50,000 post-discount.
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Short circuits, tripping, loose contacts in switches or fixtures
    2. Repair or replacement of wiring and conduits
  • Exclusions:
    1. Damage from improper power input or voltage fluctuations
    2. Physical damage to electrical components
    3. Repairs by unauthorized personnel
    4. Use of incompatible appliances or circuit overload
    5. Brand-specific fixtures (lights, fans, appliances) are covered under OEM warranties

Plumbing - 3 Year Warranty

  • Eligibility: Plumbing work must exceed ₹20,000 post-discount.
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Leaks in sanitary pipes
    2. Improper fixture installation
    3. Manufacturing defects in plumbing components
  • Exclusions:
    1. Discontinued materials
    2. Physical damage or mishandling
    3. Repairs by non-authorized personnel
    4. Poor water quality (salinity, iron, hardness)
    5. Water seepage or dampness from structural issues
    6. Fixture issues (taps, showers, etc.)
    7. Mineral deposits, blockages, scaling, or corrosion

Civil Work - 3 Year Warranty

  • Eligibility: Civil work must exceed ₹15,000 post-discount.
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Grouting issues in dado and floor tiles
    2. Hollow sounds due to poor mortar application
    3. Brick cladding and jaali installation defects
  • Exclusions:
    1. Discontinued tile/marble materials
    2. Damage from harsh cleaning, wear, or external force
    3. Structural cracks or water leakage behind tiles
    4. Acid or abrasive damage to grout and fillers

Custom Carpentry - 3 Year Warranty

  • Eligibility: Both material and labor must be under ATWOOD DSIGNS scope.
  • Covered Issues:
    1. Wall partitions, headboards, pooja units, metal/glass works
    2.Fit and finish issues, bulging, bending, bubbling, peeling
    3. Fading, edge banding issues (with proper maintenance)
    4. Hardware/accessory defects (subject to inspection)
  • Exclusions:
    1. Improper maintenance, sunlight, moisture, heat exposure
    2. Refurbishment work
    3. Scratches, abrasions from regular use
    4. Alterations, accidents, misuse, or harsh cleaning
    5. Rusting due to dampness or chemical sprays
    6. Water damage from leaks or spills
    7. Pest-related damage (termites, ants, rodents)
    8. Seasonal changes in natural materials
    9. Humidity or temperature-related damage (warping, cracking)
    10. Customer-supplied materials (glass, laminates, hardware)

Shower Cubicles & Enclosures - 1Year Warranty

  • Covered Issues:
    1. Material and installation defects
    2. Issues such as caulking failure, leakage, squeaking, or sagging (not caused by wear or physical damage)
    3. Cost of defective parts and labor for rectification
  • Exclusions:
    1. Damage due to misuse, negligence, accidents, or natural disasters
    2. Scratches, chips, water spots, or broken glass
    3. Polycarbonate/acrylic sweeps, seals, and door stoppers
    4. Faults arising from poor residential design, tile misalignment, or structural settling
    5. Improper cleaning practices (acidic detergents) cleaners, harsh scrubbing, strong
    7. Hard water stains or scaling on glass and aluminum channels

Tiles - 1Year Warranty (Installation Only)

  • Covered Issues:
    1. Installation defects, subject to inspection
    2. Replacement of tiles with matching or equivalent shades (based on availability)
  • Exclusions:
    1. No warranty on tile material after handover
    2. Seepage-related tile detachment
    3. Fading, damage from wear, weather, misuse, or accidental impact

Soft Furnishings - 1Year Warranty

  • Covered Issues:
    1. Manufacturing defects in fabric
    2. Stitching-related issues
  • Exclusions:
    1. Physical damage from rough handling
    2. Color fading after 3 months of use
    3. No warranty on hardware or accessories

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

ATWOOD DSIGNS does not assume responsibility for any issues or damage related
warranty-covered products that arise from the following conditions:

  • Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, dents, cuts, or damage from
    accidental impact or mishandling.
  • Misuse, neglect, or improper handling that leads to product deterioration.
  • Minor bends or warping-only deviations exceeding 3mm will be considered for
    service.
  • Water seepage or prolonged dampness within the building structure beyond:
    1. 72 hours for BWP grade plywood (IS710)
    2. 48 hours for BWR grade plywood (IS303)
    3. 24 hours for exterior-grade particle board MDF and HDHMR.
  • Natural aging or discoloration of wood, laminates, or finishes due to exposure to
    sunlight, moisture, heat, or other environmental factors.
  • Damage caused by harsh cleaning agents, abrasives, or chemicals that affect wood
    surfaces or corrode metal fittings.
  • Improper care, rough usage, or exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or use of products outside the recommended
    guidelines provided by ATWOOD DSIGNS.
  • Damage resulting from Force Majeure events, including: 
    1. Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning)
    2. Environmental hazards (pollution, mold, mildew, solvent exposure)
    3. External staining (grease, oils, sprays)
    4. Fire, war, terrorism, pandemics, lockdowns, or government actions  
  • Poor maintenance or use of products for unintended purposes.
  • Transfer of ownership-warranty becomes void upon resale of the product
    property.
  • Reinstallation, repair, or alteration by individuals not authorized by ATWOOD
    DSIGNS.
  • Rusting of metallic components (e.g., hinges, channels) due to exposure to
    moisture or household chemicals.
  • Damage caused by pests or pets, including termites, ants, wood borers, rodents, or
    domestic animals.

SERVICE & MAINTENANCE POLICY

Complimentary Maintenance Support (First 12 Months)

Customers are entitled to three (3) free service visits-valued at ₹3,000-within the first year following project handover. These visits are intended to address minor maintenance concerns such as loose hinges, misaligned channels, or other adjustments to moving components.

Note : These complimentary visits must be used within 12 months of handover and cannot be carried forward beyond that period.

How to Schedule a Free Service

To book a complimentary service, customers must contact ATWOOD DSIGNS’s support team via the designated helpline or submit a request through the official service portal. If the service is not scheduled within the 12-month window, the entitlement will expire.

Paid Maintenance Services (Post 12Months)

After the initial 12-month period, customers may request maintenance support on a
paid basis. Service visits will be charged at the prevailing rate-currently ₹499 per
visit.

Additional Repairs & Replacements

If any issues identified during a service visit fall outside the scope of warranty
coverage, the customer will be provided with a cost estimate for the required
repairs or replacements. These will only proceed upon customer approval.

ORDER/PROJECT CANCELLATION POLICY

At ATWOOD DSIGNS, we strive to ensure every project reaches successful completion.
However, due to dependencies on external vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers,
there may be rare instances where adjustments to pricing or material availability
are necessary. In such cases, we commit to transparency and fairness, including the
option for customers to cancel their order if warranted.

For all other scenarios, cancellation terms are outlined below:

Cancellation Timing Order Stage Refund Policy
Within 100 hours of order confirmation, and if site measurement and initial design discussions have not yet occurred Design Phase Full refund of the booking amount
After 100 hours of order confirmation, or once site measurement and initial design discussions have taken place Design Phase No refund applicable
After the fourth installment has been paid or once production has begun Production Phase No refund applicable; customer remains liable for the remaining 50% of the total project value as per the Works Contract
Note: Refund eligibility is strictly tied to the project stage and timeline. Once production is initiated, cancellation will not be processed, and the client should release all financial obligations under the signed agreement.

PERSONAL DATA & PRIVACY COMMITMENT

  • The customer grants ATWOOD DSIGNS permission to collect, store, process, and use
    their personal information-including contact details-in accordance with the
    company’s Privacy Policy. This data will be used solely for the purpose
    delivering agreed products and services.
  • The customer consents to being contacted via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. All
    communications will be limited to service-related updates, and ATWOOD DSIGNS will
    maintain strict confidentiality of all personal data. The company also reserves
    the right to photograph and showcase completed projects.
  • The customer agrees that their personal information may be shared with authorized
    vendors, franchise partners, and third-party service providers, as outlined in the
    Privacy Policy.
  • By proceeding, the customer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted the
    terms of the Works Contract, and that the details accurately reflect their
    requirements and understanding.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance
with the laws of India.
2. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to this shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Notice: In the event that the customer needs to issue any formal legal communication -including notices, court summons, mediation requests, or other legal documentationsuch materials must be sent to the official registered address of ATWOOD DSIGNS LLP as specified in the agreement.
